Virtual Classes

This page explains how you access your online yoga classes.

We use an online conference platform called Zoom for our online yoga classes. You can use Zoom on any device with an inbuilt camera that connects to the internet: laptops, tablets, iPads and smartphones, and desktop computers with a webcam.

After you have booked your class on the ageless-yoga Book That In page, you will receive an email that contains a link to Zoom. Keep this email safe, you will need it for your yoga session.

Ten to 15 minutes before your yoga session is due to start, open the email and click on the link. This will take you straight to the Zoom website.

Zoom may instruct you to download the Zoom app, especially if you are using a smartphone or a tablet. It is safe to do so.

You will then see a pop-up message on screen, inviting you to click on Zoom or “allow” Zoom. Once you have done this, you will see an invitation to join the meeting. Be patient, not much will happen until the meeting actually starts.

For the Chair Yoga classes, registration is a pre-requisite which means you will be approved to enter the class. There may be a short delay before you are “approved” to enter the class; please be patient. This is why it is best to log on 10-15 minutes prior to the starting time.

When the meeting starts, look to the bottom left-hand side of your screen. You see two icons – a microphone symbol and a camera symbol. Click on both of these and your teacher will be able both to see and to hear you.

You could also plug an HDMI cable it into your television to watch the session on the screen!
