Professional Yoga Instruction
ageless-yoga grew from founder Anne Marie’s desire to help others benefit from yoga in the way that she herself benefited over the years.
Through ageless-yoga, Anne Marie has made it her mission to bring the magic of yoga to others, regardless of age or ability, to improve mental and physical health through the ancient, timeless yoga practices of pranayama (breathing), asanas (poses) and meditation.
To help ageless-yoga achieve its goal, Anne Marie has adopted four key values:
To inspire, help and encourage anyone on their personal yoga journey to a more fulfilling life.
To act with the highest level of integrity, compassion and sincerity.
To live by the principle of kindness, to oneself, others and the universe.
To live a life of gratitude for the gift of life and inspire others to do the same.
During a period of intense personal difficulty, the magic of yoga brought light, hope and a renewed desire to live a fulfilling, meaningful life. With it came a burning desire to help others to live their happiest lives too.
Anne Marie started her yoga journey many years ago and has experienced the benefits that come with a regular practice in body and mind. Following the death of her husband, she also experienced the benefits of connecting with like-minded people and the strength and support that flow from these connections.

What’s in a name?
Yoga is an ancient practice that originates in India and can be traced back more than 5000 years. Over the centuries, yoga has developed and grown in popularity, withstanding the test of time and proving to be timeless and ageless.
Yoga’s “ageless” quality is also reflected in the practitioner. Yoga is recognised as a practice that is accessible to anyone, regardless of age or ability. And regular yoga practice is scientifically proven to support good health and wellbeing, no matter your age or when you start.
It is these many meanings, simplicity and ancient history that have inspired the name ‘ageless-yoga’.
The significance of the lotus
Our logo is inspired by Padmasana, the Lotus Pose, one of the most ancient yoga poses. The pose represents the lotus flower, a symbol of life, ever-renewing youth and the growth towards perfection and enlightenment. According to Hinduism, the spirit of the sacred lotus rests within every human.
The lotus flower grows from the mud, rising above the water to open into the sun. It is a beautiful metaphor for the unfolding process of yoga according to Richard Rosen, a Yoga Journal editor: “In the same way when a person begins yoga, they are rooted in the mud as part of the mundane world. But as they progress, they grow into a blooming flower.”
Our logo also incorporates the infinity sign, representing the timeless, agelessness of yoga. The line beneath anchors the logo in the same way that yoga brings safety and grounding in our daily lives, and the colour blue represents the bright blue sky and the hope that flows from that.
